Hatha Yoga

A morning practice to root, align, and awaken

Start grounded

Our Hatha class is a gentle way to start the day—with calm, clarity, and a bit more presence. It’s a slow, steady practice where we focus on posture, breath, and how you feel from the inside out. There’s no rush to get it “right.” No pressure to keep up. Just space to move with awareness, at your own pace.

We stay a little longer in each shape—not to push, but to give your body time to open and your mind a chance to quiet down.
If your mornings usually start in a hurry, this class is like a pause button.

A moment to land before the day begins. To breathe, stretch, and reconnect with yourself—before the world asks anything of you.

What to expect in class

Each Hatha session begins with a short centering practice. You’ll be guided to connect with your breath and bring awareness to your body. From there, we move into a sequence of classical yoga postures. Expect clear instruction on how to align each part of the body, with supportive cues and gentle corrections if needed.

You’ll practice standing, seated, and reclining postures, with an emphasis on:

  • Joint mobility and spinal alignment
  • Building strength without tension
  • Improving posture and circulation
  • Releasing stiffness or stagnation from sleep

Breath awareness is woven throughout. You’ll learn to move in sync with your breath and to notice how the breath can guide and support each shape. The class ends with a short relaxation (Savasana), giving your body time to integrate the practice and your mind a moment of stillness.

Who is this for?

This class is ideal for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. If you’re looking for a practice that:

  • Prioritizes clarity over complexity
  • Emphasizes mindful movement over intensity
  • Helps manage stress, fatigue, or anxiety
  • Supports physical recovery or gentle strength building

It’s also a wonderful option if you’re returning to yoga after time away, or if you simply want to explore a more grounded, intentional way to move.

Hatha yoga teaches us to use the body as a bow, the asana as the arrow, and the soul as the target.
